Returns & the right of withdrawal

Two different rights, two different clocks. Our 30-day promise is generosity β€” the law only requires 14. Read the difference below before you assume one covers the other.

Our 30-day promise

This is a brand policy, not a law β€” we choose to give you more time than any regulation asks for. Unworn items with the hygiene seal intact can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method, no reason required. Underwear worn past trying on and gift cards are excluded for hygiene reasons.

Prefer an exchange? Pick a different size or colour in the same flow instead of a refund, and we ship the replacement the same day we receive your parcel.

Statutory right of withdrawal (angrerett)

Separately from our 30-day promise, Norwegian and EEA consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (angrerett) under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) for goods bought at a distance β€” online, by phone, or by mail order. This right exists regardless of what any retailer's own returns policy says, and it cannot be shortened by us. The two overlap for the first two weeks; ours simply keeps running after the statutory clock stops.

The 14-day period starts the day you (or someone you name) receive the goods. Notify us of your withdrawal within that window β€” the model form below is the easiest way β€” then return the goods within a further 14 days. Under angrerett, we refund the item price and standard delivery in full, including your original payment method's fees, no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice or proof of return shipment, whichever comes first. You cover the cost of sending the goods back unless we sent the wrong or a defective item.

Angrerett does not apply to goods made or personalised to your specification, or β€” once the hygiene seal is broken β€” to underwear, for the same hygiene reasons that limit our goodwill promise.

Model withdrawal form

Filling this in is optional β€” a clear β€œI want to return this” email works too β€” but it's the standard form Forbrukertilsynet (the Norwegian Consumer Authority) publishes, and using it leaves no doubt about the date you exercised your statutory right.

How a return works

Either right β€” goodwill or angrerett β€” moves through the same four steps.

  1. Start online: Open a return from your order and pick the items and a reason. We email a prepaid label straight away.
  2. Pack & drop off: Any box works β€” seal it, stick on the label, drop it at a Posten point or your nearest Comfyballs store.
  3. We inspect it: Unworn items with the hygiene seal intact clear inspection within a day of arriving at our Oslo warehouse.
  4. Refund lands: 5–7 business days back to the original payment method. Angrerett withdrawals are refunded in full, including standard delivery.
